I have two Intel486 Processors with the exact same part number (A80486DX4WB100) but the S-spec numbers are different (SX158 and SX209). Are these the exact same parts?
The S-spec number denotes an internal specification number that Intel uses to track stepping, testing changes, and a number of manufacturing and test variables.

Is there an Intel486 processor with integrated peripherals available? Currently Intel does not offer an integrated Intel486 processor.
Does the Intel486 processor, 80486DX4 have a clock multiplier?
The Intel486 processor, 80486DX4 has clock doubling and tripling. CLKMUL on the 80486DX4 allows this to happen. When held high, it performs clock tripling. When held low it performs clock doubling. The Intel486 80486DX2 has internal clock doubling. Possible Symptoms: Looking for clock speed.
