The Intel® 430 chipset family consists of a variety of north bridges (e.g. 82439TX and 82439HX memory controllers, etc.) in combination with the PIIX3 or PIIX4 I/O controller hub (e.g. 82371SB controller).

Additional software for motherboards or systems based on Intel 430 PCIsets should be available from your motherboard manufacturer. Intel only supplies additional software for Intel® Desktop Boards (select Desktop Boards then Motherboard Archive to see Intel 430 PCIset-based motherboards manufactured by Intel). Examples of motherboard-specific software include audio drivers and BIOS updates.
