OpenGL* applications in 16-bit and 32-bit color depths are supported for hardware acceleration by the integrated graphics controller of the Intel® G31,G33, G35, Q33, and Q35 Express Chipsets. The latest Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Drivers provide support for the following versions of OpenGL:
- OpenGL* 1.4 + extensions is supported by the Intel® G31, G33, Q33, and Q35 chipsets.
- OpenGL* 2.0 is supported by the Intel® G35 chipset.
For optimal performance of OpenGL* applications, exit any background application or program running in Windows* and resolve the issue by identifying and downloading the latest graphics driver.
To check whether a newer graphics driver is available for your graphics controller, use the Intel® Driver Update Utility. If the online utility displays a message that a customized computer manufacturer graphics driver is detected, click here for additional information.
